What
are some Causes of Anxiety? |
Anxiety
is one of the most troubling ailments that we humans can be afflicted
with.
There
are many causes for anxiety and millions of people worldwide are
exposed to
them
every day. Finding help for anxiety can be difficult for many reasons
many of
which
are personal. The problem has a very complex nature that we still don't
fully
understand
yet. Continuing research is being performed everyday to better
understand
and treat the many variations of this terrible ailment.
|
There are a
few physical causes of anxiety such as sickness, injury, or unbalanced chemical
production in the brain. These are understood and treatable by
medications and
chemical treatments. However the mental forms of anxiety are another
story and are not
fully understood. When seeking help for anxiety the first step is to
talk to your
doctor and identify which type you are suffering from.

As
mentioned physical causes can be treated, wounds mended, and injuries
healed.
However
mental issues that relate to the problem are another story. First
understand
that a person who endures anxiety attacks isn't damaged, sick, or
malfunctioning.
Mental forms of anxiety are just as much a symptom of injury as
physical
forms except the injury is in the mind. It can be triggered by many
things
most often
of which is fear.
Among the
causes for anxiety are fear, panic, and depression. These causes are
also
manifested as symptoms when a person finally starts to have anxiety
attacks.
Help for
anxiety in this area requires a doctor, psychologist, or individual to
identify
what is triggering their symptoms and attacks. This is no easy task as
it requires
a lot of introverted searching to identify the issue. This isn't
something
everyone is capable of doing so if you do not think you are up to the
task you
should seek professional counseling.
Many cases
are caused by memories that the mind still hasn't dealt with such as
being
abused or suffering a horrible accident. Other causes for anxiety
include
emotional
trauma, certain phobias, and other things that a person may dread.
Help for
anxiety however is possible and falls into two categories. These are
medical
treatments and natural treatments.
Medical
treatments work for physical damage but are also prescribed form mental
trauma.
Using medications for mental trauma simply provides a band aid for a
much
larger
wound. Yes you might be able to function but you will be pumping your
body
full of
medication with known side effects. Natural treatments are safer, work
well
for mental
trauma, but are not able to do anything for physical damage.
Natural
treatments involve exercise, prayer, meditation, and deep thinking.
Essentially
you need to find and confront the cause of your anxiety whether it's
fear or a
bad memory. This takes some time and there is no set recovery time
table
as everyone
is different. However patience, perseverance, and determination can
help
you recover
from your mental trauma.
While the
causes of anxiety are numerous there are several forms of help for
anxiety.
You have
both medical and natural treatment methods available to you depending
on your
situation.
It's important to note that if you are suffering from anxiety or
depression
serious
enough to consider suicidal thoughts that you should contact your
doctor
immediately.
Your doctor will not judge you and do everything in their power to help
make you
healthy again. To learn more about a cure for
